Visit by Dr. Gibson, an authority in the field of varicose vein treatment
On September 30, Dr. Kathleen D. Gibson, a leading authority in the treatment of varicose veins in the United States, visited Seoul Samsung Clinic.
Dr. Gibson completed her vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Washington and has participated in clinical studies related to VenaSeal (including VeClose and WAVES), while leading efforts for U.S. FDA approval and academic activities.
That day, Director Lee Sang-jun and Dr. Gibson discussed their clinical experience with VenaSeal, held a Q&A session, and took time to discuss know-how and areas for improvement.
They discussed surgical methods and
toured the inside of the clinic.
Dr. Gibson was impressed with the spacious operating room and angiography suite.
She also took a commemorative photo with our Avengers-like staff,
and wrapped up the visit by presenting her with Cheonan's famous walnut cookies as a gift.
